The Eovolt Afternoon 20" Origins Folding Electric Bike is built for real-world riding – from weekday commutes to weekend canal paths. Its wide tyres give you the confidence to roll smoothly over towpaths and light off-road surfaces, while still being fast and agile in the city.
Eovolt have cut an impressive 2.1 kg from the original 20” model, making it much easier to lift, carry and combine with trains, cars, motorhomes or boats. The Afternoon feels more like a solid-frame e-bike that just happens to fold – the frame has virtually zero flex, and the redesigned folding cockpit adds even more rigidity and stability.
A new torque sensor system delivers a much more natural ride feel. Assistance is based on how hard you’re pedalling, so you get extra power only when you really need it. The result: smoother acceleration, better control and improved battery efficiency, especially on flatter rides.
With a larger frame, 20” wheels, wide tyres and a 60–80 km range, the Afternoon is a genuinely capable folding adventure bike. It’s just as happy on bridleways and canal towpaths as it is on city streets.* Add bags to the rear pannier rack and you’re set for longer days out, commuting or touring.
